I was introduced to mindfulness practices a couple of years ago by Anne at work. She presented a topic I had heard about but knew little about in a relatable manner. Her style is easygoing and her knowledge on the subject presents a holistic approach to this skill.  It has since become a part of my daily routine. In my administrative role, there are endless scenarios that play out during the course of a day in which the practice of mindfulness has provided stability and reduced emotional distress. Mindfulness practices have given me a valuable toolset for re-energizing, focusing and easing anxiety.
